MaterialMetal Product Details Thermal strippers Range of thermal strippers, PB150-S and PB150-M, to strip all insulations, whether low temperature (PVC, Kynar etc.) or high temperature (PTFE, Kapton etc.). Stripping is compliant with CNES standards.The PB150-S model is very easy to use: a single adjustment button sets both the power (the electrode temperature) and the peak temperature simultaneously.In use, as soon as the handle is pressed, the electrodes reach the selected temperature almost instantly and this is maintained until the handle is released.The PB150-M model features two distinct adjustments, one for power (electrode temperature) and the other for peak temperature. Some insulations require high temperatures: the PB150-M controls the duration of power supply to the electrodes and this prevents the conductor from being annealed. Visual and audible indicators (can be switched off) show the user how long power is supplied to the electrodes. This timer function is also switchable.These strippers are supplied with tweezers equipped with standard bevelled electrodes with no indentations. Three models of electrodes with indentations are available separately, with different gauges.Supplied with an instruction manual.
